Zinedine Zidane ‘has NO interest in a break from management after leaving Real Madrid… and wants to be back in the dugout as soon as possible’ with Juventus, Inter and PSG on the radar

  • Zinedine Zidane wants to find another management job as soon as possible
  • The Frenchman, 48, walked out on Real Madrid after a trophy-less season
  • Juventus, Inter Milan and PSG are all possible options for Zidane this summer

Zinedine Zidane will not take a break from management after walking out on Real Madrid and wants a new post as soon as possible.

The Frenchman is eager to return to the dugout after calling time on his second stint as Real boss, according to L’Equipe.

Zidane, 48, endured his worst season in the Spanish capital, which saw Real end the campaign trophy-less and with a squad in dire need of an overhaul.

Sportsmail reported earlier this month that Zidane would walk away from the club regardless of whether they secured the title because he had sensed for some time that he did not have the backing of president Florentino Perez.

Despite a poor season, Zidane’s prospects may not be too badly affected as his overall managerial record is extremely successful.

Across both his tenures at Real, he won two LaLiga titles and an unprecedented three Champions League trophies in a row.

The current state of the managerial market could also play into Zidane’s hands, with several top European clubs seeking new head coaches.

Zidane has been most strongly linked with a move to Juventus, who are poised to sack Andrea Pirlo. However, former boss Max Allegri now looks most likely to return to the Old Lady, having been frustrated at waiting for the Real job.

Inter Milan is another possibility after Serie A-winning boss Antonio Conte walked out. Zidane could also return to his native France and take over at PSG, whose current boss Mauricio Pochettino is in talks over a sensational return to Tottenham.
