Tottenham and Manchester United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday night.

David de Gea’s clanger allowed Steven Bergwijn to give the home side a deserved lead but the introduction of Paul Pogba off the bench was the pivotal moment in the second period.

The Frenchman won a late penalty after Eric Dier fouled him in the area and Bruno Fernandes dispatched the spot-kick to earn Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a point.

Got away with poor defensive header in the first half but otherwise sound

Eric Dier – 5.5

Selected at centre-back and guilty of giving away a penalty for clumsy challenge on Pogba

Steven  Bergwijn – 7.5

Scored with a fine solo goal and almost set up a second with a fantastic cross for Son

MANCHESTER UTD (4-2-3-1)

David De Gea – 4.5

Allowed Bergwijn’s shot to go straight through him. Very poor for a keeper of his quality.

A little loose in possession and didn’t pose his usual threat going forward

Loose header in build-up to Tottenham’s goal put United in unnecessary trouble

Scott McTominay – 7

Energetic as ever after the enforced break, consistently hunting the ball down.
