Scenic Eclipse reveals first look
From sunken wrecks, marine and biological reserves to a sea floor teeming with life in the Antarctic, Scenic Neptune will provide guests with an unforgettable experience as the craft journeys through the ocean’s depths.
For seamless visibility, Scenic Neptune’s acrylic spheres are constructed from a material which has the same refraction index as seawater, which means the barrier visually disappears underwater, providing an open and spacious feeling.
The craft is specially commissioned to meet international design standards, offering maximum legroom and headroom. Scenic Neptune also has internal climate control and a surround-sound audio system.
Seabourn returns to Alaska
Luxury cruise provider Seabourn is preparing for its return to Alaska and British Columbia in 2020 with adventures in “The Great Land” including a series of shorter seven-day voyages.
Drawing inspiration from the outstanding success of the past three seasons, Seabourn has created an enriching cruise schedule for Seabourn Sojourn to pursue in summer 2020, including new seven-day cruises heading north and south; Ventures by Seabourn optional, for-charge guided kayak, Zodiac and hiking tours; a variety of immersive shore excursions; and two available pre- and post-cruise Seabourn Journeys.
Seabourn is also enhancing four itineraries in the region with scenic cruising of the majestic Glacier Bay National Park, with narration and insider observations by a National Park Service Ranger to enhance the experience.
NCL takes delivery of Norwegian Encore
This highly-anticipated milestone begins a nearly month-long tour with preview events scheduled in Europe, New York and Miami, including the ship’s naming ceremony on 21 November 2019.

VIVA Cruises launches expedition cruises
River cruise line VIVA Cruises is entering the expedition market with its new ship MS Seaventure (formally MS Bremen) launching in May 2021.
VIVA Cruises now offers four-star expedition cruising for 164 guests, on board the Seaventure. A 10% early booking discount is valid on all expeditions booked before the end of February 2020 (commissions from 10% are available to the travel trade with group allocations and net rates available).
