Reunion Island wins against Mayotte in second football match

Both teams played the match with unwavering motivation under the constant cheering of the audience and displayed their impressive determination to win by playing aggressively until the end of the game.  

In a statement after the match, the football coach of Reunion Island Team, Mr. Jean-Pierre Bade, expressed satisfaction as regards the excellent performance and competitive spirit of his team. He highlighted that the main aim was to be qualified for the next match.

For his part, the coach of Mayotte team, Mr. Massoundi Abidi, spoke about the missed opportunities of the players to score, and remains optimistic as regards the next performance of his team.

It is recalled that in previous matches, Reunion Island won against the Maldives on the score 4-0 while Mayotte won against the Comoros Islands by 2-0.
