GIS –25 April 2019: The High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr Uyigue Oghogho Igbe, paid, today, a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building, in Port-Louis.
In a statement to the press, Mr Uyigue Oghogho Igbe, said that the meeting with the Prime Minister was cordial adding that discussions focused mainly on the different ways both countries could work collaboratively and further enhance the bilateral relations.
The High Commissioner also spoke on the need to identify new areas of cooperation so as to develop economic and cultural synergies between Mauritius and Nigeria thereby promoting economic development and enhancing the quality of life of the population.
