Reading 1-1 Cardiff: Yakou Meite scores dramatic last-minute equaliser against Mick McCarthy’s side to salvage point for Royals and keep their play-off hopes alive
Yakou Meite scored a 94th minute equaliser to earn Reading a 1-1 draw against Cardiff and keep their faint play-off hopes alive.
The visitors came into the match on a run of just one win in their last six matches, and were second best for last periods of the game against a Reading side who started the night four points off the play-off spots.
But Kieffer Moore composed himself after being brought down in the 87th minute to rifle home and seemingly secure all three points for his side.
However, Yakou Meite scored with effectively the last kick of the match to salvage a point for his side and keep their play-off hopes alive.
