PM's message on 29th of May 2020 concerning POST CONFINEMENT:
First and foremost, WELL DONE MAURITIUS 🇲🇺
CURFEW WILL BE LIFTED TOMORROW 30th MAY 2020 AT MIDNIGHT.
WEARING MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE MANDATORY.
NO WORK ACCESS PERMIT AND NO ALPHABETICAL ORDER WILL BE REQUIRED.
Working from home will still be prioritized as much possible.
We have one new imported case in quarantine center, which makes a total of 3 actives cases of covid-19.
Sunday 31st MAY 2020 will witness normal activities once again.
Trading premises such as markets, malls, restaurants, foodcourts, shops will operate again.
Religious places will be accessible again , but gathering prohibited
BEACHES, CINEMA, PUBS, HORSE RACING, CULTURAL GATHERING, COLLECTIVE SPORTS WILL STILL BE PROHIBITED.
On 1st of August, schools will be opened as a preparatory day to welcome normal academic classes as from 3rd of August 2020.
Each and every one of us did a great job during this pandemic and we must still take all our precautions.
