GIS – 27 July, 2019: Mauritius won three gold medals in the finals of badminton Women doubles, Men doubles and Mixed doubles yesterday evening, at Centre National de Badminton in Rose-Hill.
Mauritius Women’s team made a score of 2-0 against Maldives while Mauritius Men’s team scored 2-0 in its favour against Reunion.
In the badminton Mixed doubles, two Mauritian teams (Paul and Allet /Bongout and Leung) played against each other. The winners were Paul and Allet scoring a 2-0
As for the finals badminton Men’s single between Mauritius and Reunion, Mauritius lost by 0-2. For Women’ Single Maldives won against Seychelles by 2-0.
