Marriott International has unveiled its first global promotion of the year, Double Take, where members earn double points on stays starting with their second stay.
Starting the year with a travel program re-brand, Marriott International replaced the Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) brands with the all-new and integrated Marriott Bonvoy. To celebrate its first year, the company announced its first global promotion of 2019.
By registering for Double Take, members earn double points on stays starting with their second stay. Plus, registered members who are the primary account holders of US-issued Marriott Bonvoy co-brand credit cards can earn an additional 500 points for weekend stays, starting with their first stay.
Points can be redeemed for free nights, flights, exclusive experiences on Marriott Bonvoy Moments and more.
By earning points faster, members can take advantage of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of global brands in 130 countries and territories, including a collection of lifestyle and luxury properties and rich member benefits.
In addition, members can redeem for Marriott Bonvoy Moments, the company’s travel experiences platform featuring backstage passes to concerts; luxury VIP suite access to sports teams; or a chance to cook with a world-famous chef.
The registration period is from 8 March to 21 May 2019, while the earning period is from 19 March to 4 June 2019.
