Luck was not on Marco Stiepermann’s side as the attacking midfielder took a gamble with Norwich manager Daniel Farke’s unique punishment system.

The Canaries boss offers his players the chance to spin a wheel of fortune if they receive a fine for things such as being late for training and using their phones during meal times.

And goalkeeper Tim Krul has given fans a look at the the moment team-mate Stiepermann fell foul of the wheel.

‘Pay the fine or spin the wheel?’ Krul wrote alongside the clip on Tuesday. ‘@stiepi39 decided to spin the wheel. Let’s see what happens #banter’.

Stiepermann, who had received an initial fine of £50 for an unknown reason, can be seen approaching the wheel as his team-mates watch on in anticipation.

It has 14 options, the majority multiplying the fine, others getting team-mates to pay it and one removing it altogether.

However, there is no doubt what the least desired option is, that being to clean the manager’s car both inside and out.

Tim Krul shared a video Stiepermann hosing down Daniel Farke’s car on Wednesday

And much to the delight of Stiepermann’s team-mates, that is exactly what the German midfielder landed on.

Krul then took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to share a video of glum-looking Stiepermann, complete with boiler suit and Wellington, hosing down his manager’s car.

Clearly finding the whole situation highly amusing, Krul accompanied the clip with a series of ‘laughing’ emoticons.
