Laurent Blanc ‘has hired football agency Base Soccer to help him find a job managing in the Premier League.’

The 53-year-old has previously managed Bordeaux, the France national side and Paris Saint-Germain but has not had a managerial job for over two years.

Now, the former defender is keen to take charge of a club in England, where he spent two seasons with Manchester United as a player at the end of his career.

The former defender ‘has enlisted the help of agency Base Soccer to find a job managing in the Premier League’

The Daily Mirror report that Blanc has enlisted the help of Base Soccer to land him a job.

He was spotted watching United’s Champions League defeat to PSG at Old Trafford on Tuesday night alongside the agency’s chairman Leon Angel and managing director Frank Trimboli.

Blanc won eight major trophies during his three seasons in charge of PSG but was sacked in 2016 after they failed to win the Champions League.

1998 World Cup winner Blanc last managed at Paris Saint-Germain almost three years ago

The 1998 World Cup winner won the French domestic Treble of Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue in both 2014-15 and 2015-16.

He had previously won the league title and the league cup as manager of Bordeaux and guided France to the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
