Jose Mourinho did not watch Manchester United‘s defeat to Paris Saint-Germain because he knows Premier League players too well.
The Portuguese boss was sacked by United in December after losing to rivals Liverpool 3-1.
Mourinho was spotted at Lille casting an eye over Ligue 1 talent on Sunday as he looks for his next adventure but is not interested in the Red Devils.

‘No, I didn’t watch it,’ Mourinho told beIN SPORTS.
‘I watch games from time to time, but I prefer to watch other leagues. The Premier League, I know every player in it.
‘I can imagine myself as a coach in Ligue 1,’ he added, when asked if he wanted to manage in the French top flight.
‘I am a man who has worked in four different countries, I like to know and learn other cultures. Working in a new championship would be a fantastic experience.

‘For now I’m calm, I try to live better with my family and friends and I work to get the right opportunity to go back to training.
‘Two to three months [without a job] is okay, afterwards it’s more difficult. I hope to have the opportunity to come back stronger.
‘My project is my project as a person and coach, to improve myself, to be better, to think all days about my profession, which is also a passion. But this is not the time to talk with clubs.’
Mourinho has been linked with the PSG job in the past and has been recently eyed for a move to Real Madrid or Inter Milan.
