‘It’s bulls**t… he was being drug tested’: Jurgen Klopp denies claims he had dressing-room spat with Jordan Henderson after Liverpool’s draw at Old Trafford
- Reports claimed Jurgen Klopp was left fuming with Jordan Henderson
- However, Klopp has denied such suggestions and said he was calm after game
- The German has revealed Henderson was drug tested soon after final whistle
- He has also described his touchline row with Henderson as a ‘misunderstanding’
Jurgen Klopp has poured cold water over claims he was involved in an angry post-match bust-up with captain Jordan Henderson after Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
Reports claimed Klopp tore into his players after they drew 0-0 with an injury-hit Manchester United side.
Henderson reportedly received the brunt of Klopp’s anger after the full-time whistle as the German appeared to be unhappy at the Liverpool captain’s initial reluctance to shake hands after being substituted.

However, Klopp has said the reports are ‘bulls**t’ as Henderson was being drug tested.
He also described the touchline row with the England international as a ‘misunderstanding’.
‘I could have shouted, but Hendo wasn’t even there. He was being drug tested,’ the German told the media.
‘Nothing. It’s bulls**t. Nothing happened after the game, we were completely fine.
‘We spoke about the game and the opportunity we had, things we did, and then we drove home.’
A lot was made of Klopp having to call Henderson back to shake hands after the 72nd-minute substitution but the German now understands why the episode occurred.
He added: ‘In terms of the situation, it was a pure misunderstanding. That’s clear. For me, when a player leaves the pitch, it’s clear, we shake hands.
‘But I’m in the situation as well. I didn’t say you have to wait for me until I look at you again as I was with [Xherdan] Shaqiri talking and then Hendo left. He was saying thank you to the crowd.
‘I thought he didn’t [go to shake hands] and that’s why I turned and told him to [come back and shake my hand].
‘But everyone else told me, “No, no, no, he wanted to shake your hand but you were not ready”. That’s how a misunderstanding works. That’s all. It was nothing.’
