Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) created history after it successfully launched an earth observation spy satellite RISAT-2B which is capable of clear viewing during the day, night and even in adverse weather conditions and would be used for military surveillance.
RISAT-2B will be a successor to RISAT-2 which was launched in earlier used to monitor activities in terror camps across the border in Pakistan. The spy satellite has a lifespan of five years and would enhance the country’s surveillance capabilities many fold.
