Inter Milan chief Giuseppe Marotta confirms club are STILL in talks with Man United and Chelsea to extend loan deals for Alexis Sanchez and Victor Moses until end of the season

Inter Milan are yet to agree loan extensions for Alexis Sanchez and Victor Moses despite their current deals almost being at an end.

Sanchez joined the Italian giants from Manchester United last summer, while Chelsea full-back Moses was reunited with his old boss Antonio Conte in January.

Inter want both players to remain in Italy to finish the delayed season, but they are yet to make a breakthrough in talks.

Conte’s side, who are third in the table, still have 10 Serie A games to play as they attempt to chase down Juventus and Lazio.

Sanchez and Moses are also eligible for Inter’s Europa League campaign, with Spanish side Getafe next up in the last-16 of the competition.

However, Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that it is not yet certain that the Premier League duo will complete the season with Inter.

The club’s CEO told Sky Sports: ‘This is a great regulatory anomaly that needs to be resolved because we are still dealing with Chelsea and Manchester United today to try to extend their loans.

‘It is not a beautiful thing. We are also dealing with Bayern Munich over Ivan Perisic.’

Croatia winger Perisic is currently on loan from Inter with the Bundesliga champions and they are keen to keep him for the remainder of the Champions League.

Bayern are 3-0 up against Chelsea after the first leg of their last-16 tie and are strong favourites to progress to the ‘final eight’ tournament in Lisbon in August.
