I don’t like spiders. đź•· It is something you have to learn to live with in Hawai’i, though (looking at you, cane spiders). I don’t mind smaller ones if they sit in their corner and catch mosquitos; we can have a kind of coexistence then. But I don’t like then anywhere near me, nor the thought of that, and even looking at pictures takes quite some overcoming for me. Now imagine photographing actually really big ones. Like these red-legged golden orb-weaver spiders (Nephila inaurata) in Mauritius. But spiders hanging in actual palm trees is quite a sight.
