Ousmane Dembele displayed sublime skills in Barcelona’s 3-0 Copa del Rey semi-final win over Real Madrid on Wednesday evening. 

The winger produced a series of stepovers at the Bernabeu to leave Dani Carvajal on the floor as Barca progressed to the Copa del Rey final for the sixth year in succession. 

Football fans took to social media to heap praise on the French winger.

Another fan alluded to Dembele leading Carvajal in a dance as the Spaniard swayed from side to side without getting near the ball. 

One fan even said Carvajal looked like he was ‘doing splits’ in an attempt to stop the former Borussia Dortmund man in his tracks.

The 21-year-old played an influential role in Barca’s victory, crossing for Luis Suarez to open the scoring on 50 minutes. 

19 minutes later Dembele sent a dangerous low cross into the Madrid penalty area which Raphael Varane could only divert into his own net. 

Barcelona will return to the Bernabeu on Saturday evening to face Los Blancos for the third time in 25 days.
