Facebook passwords of millions of users exposed to their employees

Krebson Security, a cybersecurity and investigation blog on 21st March revealed that the Facebook employees had access to the passwords of over 600 million users as the passwords had been stored in plain text format. These passwords were present in Facebook’s servers in unencrypted form, some as old as 2012. This is not the first time that user’s private data has been exposed.
