Everton supporters expressed their satisfaction after a 2-0 defeat by Manchester City that saw city rivals knocked off the Premier League summit.

Goals from Aymeric Laporte and Sergio Aguero helped the reigning champions to a victory that saw them move back up to the top of the table on goal difference.

The Toffees could have a further say in the title race as their next home match is the Merseyside Derby on March 3.Β
