Dele Alli has stepped up his recovery in Dubai as he aims to try and make the return leg against Borussia Dortmund

The England international suffered a hamstring injury in Tottenham’s 2-1 victory over Fulham on January 20.

And now the 22-year-old looks as though he is working hard to make a timely return for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Alli posted a video on Twitter showing the rehab that he has had to endure in order to return to full fitness. 

The Spurs midfielder missed Tottenham’s 3-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League last-16 first leg. 

Harry Winks played that match on Wednesday and believes the north London club are strong favourites going into the second leg on March 5.

‘We hope it is a statement to show that we are up there, we mean business, that we want do do well and go as far as we can in the Champions League,’ Winks said after Wednesday’s 3-0 win.

‘There is no better way of doing that than beating Dortmund 3-0 at home. We have to take it game by game. 

‘We have got to win the second leg before we can even look at how far we can go.’
