Dan Evans scored another impressive victory to take him into the semi-finals of the ATP Delray Beach Open in Florida.

This latest win comes less than a year after his comeback from suspension.

The 28-year-old Midlander defeated third seed and World No 52 Andreas Seppi 6-4 6-4 having come through the qualifying event.

It was a 14th win of the season for Evans, who took a 4-0 first lead against the Italian to set the tone and held on thereafter.

He was awaiting the winner between second seed John Isner and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.

The victory will see Evans climb to a world ranking of at least 120, as he aims to reach his career-high of 41.
