A new partnership between Avis and Bidroom for Central Europe provides Avis Preferred members an exclusive one-year-free membership for the Bidroom hotel platform. Avis users in the region can leverage a one-year 50% subscription discount for Bidroom.
Frequent travellers among Avis customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Czech Republic can now book hotels with guaranteed discounts of up to 25%. Bidroom users receive up to 15% discount on car rentals in Europe from Avis’ side.
The car rental company’s customers in these countries can benefit from the deal with Bidroom for the next year. Avis’ decision to enter the partnership advances their strategy of enriching their client’s total travel experience. It has also recently introduced new features to the Avis App, which streamlines the rental process and allows travellers to make hiring a vehicle seamless, simple and stress-free – all from the convenience of their mobile device. The latest version puts users in the driving seat even faster, as it enables Avis Preferred members to choose the exact vehicle they want, change it or upgrade it.
Bidroom membership will be a new value-added bonus for its customers, giving them access to discounted hotel deals for over 120,000 properties in 128 countries. In return, Bidroom’s base of international travellers receive up to 15% discount on car rental with Avis in Europe.
“We now offer our customers even better mobility solutions and provide more travel flexibility,” said Martin Gruber, managing director of Central Europe at Avis Budget Group.
Commenting on the partnership, Michael Ros, co-founder and COO of Bidroom said: “For their journeys, travellers need a flight, hotel, and transport – usually through car rental. Bidroom will take care of hotels for Avis customers while helping our members get a great car rental deal in Europe.”
