Accor to manage Windsor Suites Hotel

Accor has signed an agreement to manage the 456-room Windsor Suites Hotel.

The hotel will be rebranded under Grand Mercure Windsor in 2021. Located along Sukhumvit’s Soi 20, the 34-storey hotel boasts six dining outlets, a fitness centre, wellness spa, executive lounge and helipad on its rooftop.

Talking about the new addition to the portfolio, Patrick Basset, chief operating officer of Accor for upper southeast and northeast Asia and the Maldives said, “Grand Mercure Hotels & Resort is a cultural touchstone in each destination, capturing guests’ imagination and bringing local stories to life. With the Windsor Suites Hotel join the Accor network, it is giving visitors to Bangkok an added choice of hotel to choose from in the Sukhumvit area.”

The hotel will undergo an extensive refurbishment of its public areas, dining outlets and guest rooms at the end of this year to be completed in phases over the next two years.

Accor has a portfolio of 83 hotels in Thailand and has a pipeline of 13 hotels scheduled to open over the next five years. The group currently manages a portfolio of 44 Grand Mercure hotels across the Asia Pacific region.
