The BJP and Trinamool Congress party workers fought on the streets of Kolkata during a massive roadshow carried out by Amit Shah. The violence started near the gates of Calcutta University. Some college students started raising anti-BJP slogans and then BJP workers rushed at them with rods. Police tried to intervene so as to prevent any kind of severe clashes.
