When I was born, the universe gave me a twin sister (Diane), which means that for my whole life I’ve had a best friend by my side.
It’s funny because we often get asked questions like: what it’s like to have a twin? Are you guys close? Can you read each others minds?
Growing up I had times where I wanted to be an only child. I was wondering how my life would be, how amazing it would been to have my own room, the assurance that no one would steal my clothes, no more comparisons and expectations. I’ve wondered what it would be like to have one of everything instead of two, since buying double of everything is a way of life.
But at the end I realize how grateful I am to have a twin.
She knows what you want to say before you can even say it. She never judges you. She always supports you and lifts you up.
Yes, I have had moments where I wanted to kill her, every sisters and brothers will know the struggle, but I know I wouldn’t give her up for the world. I’m so happy we decided to ride the wave of life together as twin. And ever more, as business partner.
