The England camp has maintained an air of focus this week, as Eddie Jones‘ men prepare to build on their stellar opening Six Nations victory over Ireland in Dublin.

The Red Rose pulled off their first victory on Irish soil since 2011, and are now readying to go up against France at Twickenham.

Jones put his troops through their paces on Saturday morning for a final light training session.

England worked on engagement, passing and ball retention as Jones watched on with his coaching staff, wrapped up from the chilly temperatures with gloves and a trademark black cap.

England will find themselves up against a plucky France side desperate to make amends from their opening day errors against Wales.

Les Bleus were in the driving seat against Warren Gatland’s side and had built a healthy lead, but for a complete capitulation to see their chances come crashing down.

Despite England earning many plaudits for their powerhouse of a display against the Irish, Jones has already warned opponents that his side will be getting stronger.

‘We’ll be better this week,’ said Jones in the days following the Dublin heroics, ‘no doubt about it.

‘Last week was just the start. Even our training yesterday was much higher quality than it was in Portugal and I’ve got no doubt we are going to be better this week.

‘There’s no reason for us not to be focused. We’ve worked extremely hard this week. We’re in a good physical state. We’ll be better than we were the previous week.’
