Amidst the sea and the mountains, there lies an idyllic seaside destination that will seduce and surprise you. Warmer waters, gentle tides, dreamy beaches, turquoise waters and of course, the epic scenery, you will love to succumb to the pleasures of Nice Côte d’Azur.

Dramatic, luxurious and more than a little dashing, the internationally renowned Nice and its metropolitan area offer infinite possibilities for visits and activities. Here’s why you need to spend some perfect days on France’s gorgeous town.

On the shores of the Mediterranean, only a few kilometres away from Italy, Nice has the charm of a southern city. There is a carefree gentle vibe and way of life in the city owing to the city’s beauty and its exceptional climate. You will be particularly charmed by the elegant Promenade des Anglais which runs along the Bay of Angels for 7 kilometres and by the incredible azure blue tones of the sea which invite them to swim or to contemplate.

From baroque walks to Roman ones, Belle Epoque or art deco itineraries, from gustatory tours to gentle strolls, from museums to old palaces, the city of Nice lets you discover the art of living and a heritage envied by many other tourist destinations.

Vieux-Nice is a festival of sensations in itself! Narrow streets, yellow and ochre facades, craftsmen’s shops and small businesses, restaurants and lively squares make up the soul of this old quarter which is alive both day and night, without forgetting, of course, the Cours Saleya market, classified as one of the exceptional markets in France!

Simple and sunny, Nice’s cuisine honours the products of its soil, in particular the olive oil, harvested on the hills of Nice with a protected designation of origin (AOP). The mills, still in operation, can be visited by reservation. Valued and protected by the label ‘Cuisine Nissarde, respect for tradition’, the town’s cuisine is now part of France’s intangible cultural heritage and is the subject of an application for inclusion in UNESCO’s Inventory of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Nice is also the only French city to have a registered designation of origin (AOC) vineyard inside the city, and this year, the vineyard is celebrating its 80th anniversary of the registrations of AOC, which aim to preserve the terroirs and quality of the wines produced in Nice. On the slopes of the Bellet hill, only 15 minutes from the city centre, one of the oldest grape varieties in France gives birth to exceptional white, red and rosé wines. Tastings and visits of vineyards can be organized for your clients by the wine estates, which are also happy to open the doors of their châteaux for all your corporate and incentives events.

While you are here, don’t forget to include a visit to the Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild, located 10 minutes from Nice – one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance palaces on the French Riviera. The villa and its nine themed gardens are a tourist attraction that can be visited independently, thanks to the audio guides.

Similarly, the medieval village of Eze, an eagle’s nest situated on a rocky spur above the sea, is a must-see tourist site. The view from its exotic garden is absolutely breathtaking! At the entrance to the village, the Fragonard and Galimard perfumeries offer your customers the opportunity to compose their own perfume during a workshop followed by a guided tour.

Cagnes-sur-Mer, Vence, Saint-Jeannet, Falicon, Tourrette-Levens and Gilette are all places to include in your tour programme.
