It is never too late to do what you love in life.
So many of us have heard about this saying or there may be someone at some point in your life who told you but you ignored as you were in the rat race to become what you thought was success, you were too happy to follow the crowd and getting the label society loves to put on such as ‘Doctor’, ‘Lawyer’, ‘Accountant’, ‘Engineer’, but have you ever thought, Am I happy? Am I doing what keeps my flame burning every single morning, where an alarm clock is not needed to wake me up?
After graduating from university, I realised that I was one of those that followed the crowd. Accounting, Science, or Art section? I failed to realise that Passion needs to be found, by ourselves and not given by others to choose from. Success is when you know what you really love to do, where your happiness comes from.
Three years back, I was walking in the forest, alone, I gave it a deep thought, said why not? I got my wake up call. I realized that my life has always been about challenges, from Karate to Mixed Martial Arts, I have always been a fighter and this all had to make sense, it was all meant to be. There had to be some sort of correlation making the different lines to my dreams come together. I had to do what I love and make others live the best moments of their lives from my side.That little voice from nowhere talked to me and told me that I was made for this, being a Nature warrior, and then came alive ‘Nature Warriors Mauritius’.
I choose to follow the path that always kept me happy, being surrounded by Mother Nature.
Mother Nature has always been the second mother which made me smile when I was at my lowest parts. Ever since, I share with others that same love, and it becomes a kind of addiction that they cannot live without, for so many people who follow me on this journey. Being a Hiking guide today helps me inspire others to also follow what they love doing, work towards it, give it a try. Every summit is hard to reach but if you do not stop, and you continue climbing, the summit will sure be worth it! (Cont in comments)
