Uri: The Surgical Strike breaks Baahubali 2’s Box Office Record

Directed by Aditya Dhar the film Uri: The Surgical Strike, continues to win the hearts of the audiences as well as the earnings at box office. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer is still dominating box office figures, despite being in its fourth week now. In fact, the film is performing better even now than some of the new releases, which just go on to show how much the audiences have loved the film! Uri has earned a little over 189 crores till now, and is expected to touch 200 crores soon!

Now, the film has achieved another milestone. The movie’s day 23 and 24 collections have surpassed that of Baahubali 2: The Conclusions Hindi version’s earnings of the same. The SS Rajamouli directorial Hindi version had earned 6.35 crores and 7.80 crores on day 23 and 24 respectively, while Uri earned 6.53 crores and 8.71 crores respectively at the box office. This makes it the record holder for highest day 23 and 24 collections. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures on Twitter. In one of the tweets, he wrote, “#UriTheSurgicalStrike is winning hearts, setting new benchmarks and rewriting the record books… Inches closer to ₹ 200 cr”.
