Not a SINGLE player or member of staff tests positive for coronavirus at EFL clubs out of 3,263 tests, even though the Championship is back in full swing and teams are playing twice a week

The EFL have a clean slate of health after the latest round of coronavirus tests, with no player or staff member testing positive.

A total of 3,263 tests were carried out by clubs across the three leagues – including 24 Championship sides, four from League One and four from League Two – with no issues cropping up.

The checks have taken place over the last week and each player and staff member has been subjected to two tests.

There have been 19 matches played in the Championship in the last week, which is the period the tests cover.

Meanwhile, there has been just one game played in League Two – the play-off final, which Northampton Town won against Exeter.

And no matches have taken place in League One, with the four sides that have qualified for the play-offs after their curtailed campaign training.

They are Wycombe Wanderers, Oxford United, Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town.

The play-off semi-finals take place either side of the coming weekend, with Portsmouth facing Oxford and Fleetwood taking on Wycombe in two-legged ties on Friday and Monday.

The final of the League One play-offs will take place at Wembley on July 13.
