Republic of Mauritius- Mauritius free of Covid-19 cases for past three weeks

GIS – 17 May, 2020: No new Covid-19 cases have been registered in Mauritius
for the past three weeks, that is, since 26 April 2020. A total of 87 177
Covid-19 tests have been carried out as at now, including 25 256 PCR tests and
61 921 Rapid Antigen Tests.

The updates were presented in a communiqué issued by the
Ministry of Health and Wellness, this evening, to keep the population abreast
of all developments in relation to the Covid-19.

The country has recorded 332 positive cases and 322
successfully treated patients. Currently there are no active cases and 149passengers
under quarantine. Covid-19 related deaths remained at 10 since the outbreak of
the pandemic in Mauritius.
