GIS – 12 May, 2020: According to latest updates
on the Covid-19 situation in Mauritius, currently, the country has registered neither no active cases, nor,
no new cases
related to the virus. The figures were reported, this evening, through a communiqué
issued by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The number of successfully treated patients is 322
while ten deaths have been registered since the outbreak of the virus in Mauritius.
The number of positive cases stands at 332.
As regards screening, figures reveal that 23 772
PCR tests have been conducted whereas the number of rapid antigen tests carried
out has reached 53 184. A total of 76 956 tests have been conducted as at date.
Moreover, 220 passengers are still under
quarantine.
