This week in the world of hotels, we’re looking at the latest openings from Radisson Collection, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and Shaza Hotels.
Radisson Collection Hotel & Suites, Paris La Défense
Radisson Hospitality AB has announced the signing of its first Radisson Collection hotel in France, in the La Défense business area of Paris. The Radisson Collection Hotel & Suites, Paris La Défense will bring the group’s portfolio in the country to 17 hotels and more than 3,000 rooms in operation or under development.
Set between the famous Grande Arche and CNIT building, the hotel will sit at the doorstep of European business – while offering easy access to the French capital’s landmarks and attractions.
“A destination in itself”
Elie Younes, executive vice president and chief development officer, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “The Radisson Collection La Defense will be an addition to the Parisian skyline – a destination in itself. In an evolving real estate market, it’s increasingly critical to have the right neighbours around a high-profile hotel asset, and the Sisters Towers development is the perfect blend – combining luxury hospitality with state-of-the-art commercial real estate.”
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, along with Congress Group and AECOM Capital, has announced that a Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences will be coming to downtown Nashville. It will be a groundbreaking development, as the property will be the first Four Seasons in Tennessee, expected in April 2019.
“This will be one of the most iconic high-rise buildings in the state of Tennessee,” said Dean Stratouly, president of Congress Group. Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville will include a five-star, full-service luxury hotel with 236 keys, a spa and an array of fitness amenities. In addition, the building will offer for sale luxury residences to be managed by Four Seasons.
Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como
Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como will open on 15 April 2019 following the renovation of the lakefront property. The hotel enjoys a serene setting on the shores of the lake, nestled within botanical gardens.
The property is in Blevio, one of the picturesque villages in the region, within easy reach of Milan and Malpensa International airport, while central Como and the region’s many attractions are all close by.
Mysk Jeddah
Shaza Hotels, a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, has signed a management agreement with Sheikh Sultan Al Harthi to operate Mysk Jeddah – the Mysk brand’s first property in KSA.
Strategically located on Heraa street, close to the Jeddah Corniche, the four-star hotel is expected to open in 2021. In addition, two other Mysk properties are under development in Palm Jumeirah in Dubai and Kuwait. They are scheduled to open by Q4 of 2019 and 2020 respectively.
