Des images vidéo ont permis de repérer le corps d’un « occupant » dans l’épave de l’avion transportant le footballeur italo-argentin Emiliano Sala et le pilote David Ibbotson, a annoncé lundi le Bureau d’enquête britannique sur les accidents aériens (AAIB).
« Tragiquement, dans les images vidéo du ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle, véhicule télécommandé à distance, ndlr), un occupant est visible dans l’épave », a indiqué l’AAIB dans un communiqué. L’avion transportant les deux hommes avait disparu le soir du 21 janvier au-dessus de la Manche, à une vingtaine de kilomètres au nord de Guernesey.
