Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Nordik tour operator Apollo have renewed partnership for summer and winter season 2020. The deal is worth approximately SEK 1.4 billion (USD 0.15 billion) and apply to charter flights within Europe. SAS will fly Apollo’s customers to and from 23 locations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark to 26 destinations in Europe.

Apollo has extended the longstanding partnership, which means that SAS will be the main partner for most charter flights from Scandinavia in summer and winter 2020.

“Charter cooperation is an important part of our strategy to adapt capacity to the season. SAS continues to phase in new, eco-efficient aircraft in the fleet with new designs and upgraded cabins,” said Markus Ek, global sales manager at SAS. Its aircraft is well suited to operate from airports from regional as well as major cities in Scandinavia.

“For Apollo, it is natural to extend the cooperation with a Scandinavian company that is a safe and a good partner of Apollo and which places great emphasis on flights of increasingly lower emissions. It offers direct flights to our destinations with a service and reliability that our customers appreciate,” said Leif Vase Larsen, managing director of DER Touristik Nordic that runs Apollo.
