Innovative hospitality brand YOTEL has announced Amsterdam, as the location of its latest property to come online. As of 4 November Amsterdam Noord will fling open its doors to welcome guests to the Dutch capital.

Featuring an all-day dining concept, spacious deck space and an outdoor cinema, the 202-cabin hotel has is pitched in the up-and-coming Buiksloterham neighbourhood, on the bank of the Tolhuis Canal. Which as a popular site for tech start-ups and creative businesses, the area has built a rep as fun, trendy destination packed with hip bars, experimental festivals and modern architecture, making it an ideal base for modern travellers.

YOTEL’s signature ‘Cabins’, known as rooms to the rest of us, come with features such as the space-saving adjustable SmartBed™, cool action gel memory foam mattresses,  amenities from Urban Skincare, rain showers, adjustable mood lighting, free WiFi and HD SMART TVs with Chromecast.

Developed by Being Development, and designed by Studioninedots, also based in Amsterdam Noord,  the hotel also boasts top-notch sustainability credentials. Benefitting from a unique water system which collects, stores, filters and recycles water, the hotel also utilises energy-saving LED lighting and sensors to ensure nothing is kept running when not in use. Guests who arrive by electric car will also be able to charge their vehicles at one of the hotel’s 10 charging points.
