England rugby stars face Georgia in practice match… a day after two squads come to blows and punches are thrown in front of schoolchildren
England’s rugby stars faced their Georgian counterparts in a training match on Thursday despite the previous day’s session being marred by mass brawls.
Sportsmail revealed that Eddie Jones’s men and the Georgian team came to blows after two ugly fights broke out in Wednesday’s training session at St Edward’s School in Oxford, which was being watched by dozens of young schoolchildren.
England coach Jones had invited Georgia into their training camp to provide opposition for his squad as they prepare to host Italy on March 9 in the Six Nations.

The two squads enjoyed a hard-fought training match on Thursday as Jones put his men through their paces while young pupils again watched over the session from the sidelines.
Henry Slade, Dan Robson and Owen Farrell were all involved in the match, which comes just over a week before they return to Six Nations action.
The England players were also seen running with water weight balls and working with resistance bands after warming up with stretching and running exercises.
They were split into two different teams and put into match scenarios during the latter stages of the session while the Georgia players trained in their peripheral for much of it.

England are preparing to welcome Italy to Twickenham next Saturday and worked on a number of tactical and physical aspects of their game on Thursday.
Jones is hopeful a good week’s of training will help his side bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing 21-13 defeat against rivals Wales in a match that was being billed as the final of the Six Nations.
Wales are currently top of the table just two points in front of England and travel to Murrayfield next weekend to take on Scotland.
England are expected to return to winning ways but could have their work cut out with Italy impressing in their last showing by running Ireland close in Rome.
