GIS – 27 July, 2019: Mayotte clinched the bronze medal in the football tournament of the Indian Ocean Islands Games 2019, as it defeated Seychelles during a match held, yesterday, at the Auguste Volaire stadium in Flacq. Mayotte sealed its third position in the tournament on a score of 3-1.
The finals of the football tournament is being held today at the New George V Stadium in Curepipe, with Mauritius pitted against Reunion Island.
Mayotte has so far won 15 medals among which, two gold, one silver, and twelve bronze.
