Maurizio Sarri has admitted that he is ‘not sure’ about his future at Chelsea as he battles to save his job.
The Italian is under huge pressure after Monday’s FA Cup defeat by Manchester United, with sources claiming it’s ‘when and not if’ he is sacked.
However, Sarri came out fighting in his press conference on Wednesday, insisting that he is still planning for the long-term at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri is under huge pressure but he says he is planning to remain manager ‘for a long time’
‘I have to think that I will be the manager of Chelsea for a long time, otherwise I cannot work… I’m not sure but I have to think this,’ he said.
Sarri, who also admitted that he has not spoken with owner Roman Abramovich or director Marina Granovskaia since being knocked out of the FA Cup, added: ‘As you know its not easy as we have no time, we are trying to solve our problems.
‘It’s not easy because we have no time but we are tying to talk with the players, to avoid mistakes by detail.
‘It’s not easy because we have to play every three days so we have no time on the pitch.’
