Kulbhushan Jadhav case: ICJ asks Pakistan to review Jadhav’s conviction

49-year-old Kulbhushan Jadhav, a retired Indian Navy officer, was arrested by Pakistan in March 2016 and accused of espionage, a charge which India has rubbished. A year later, a Pakistan military court sentenced him to death, after which there have been several hearings related to this case. India had approached ICJ in May 2017 against the military court’s decision.
