Callum Hudson-Odoi played for just six minutes in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Malmo on Thursday evening.
The Blues had taken a two-goal lead in the Europa League round of 32 first leg tie thanks to Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud efforts either side of half-time.
But Husdson-Odoi replaced Pedro after 84 minutes, moments after Anders Christiansen had pulled a goal back for the hosts.

Speculation surrounds the Englishman’s, with Bayern Munich tabling a £35million bid in January, and looking to make a fresh offer in the summer.
Chelsea fans took to Twitter to vent their anger as manager Maurizio Sarri continues to sideline the winger.
One Blues fan tweeted: ’84 minutes too late’ as the youngster came on.

One person even suggested that Hudson-Odoi should ‘force his way out’ of the club, adding that he would achieve success at a ‘club that values him.’
Chelsea host Malmo in the second leg at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, February 21 with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
