Mesut Ozil has not traveled with Arsenal to Belarus for their Europa League last-32 tie with BATE Borisov.
Arsenal’s record wage earner has not made an appearance since he captained the side against Cardiff last month.
He missed the Gunners‘ 2-1 win over Huddersfield on Saturday through illness. Although he trained on Wednesday, he has not made the cut for the first leg of Arsenal’s European knockout tie.

Gunners boss Unai Emery said the midfielder had not trained enough ahead of the game
‘We are here with the players who I think are OK to play,’ manager Unai Emery said.
‘The players not in the squad is because (Aaron) Ramsey has not trained with us, Sokratis has started to train but not enough, Mesut is the same.
‘(Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang started Monday and I think he is okay for the match.’
