Following the opening of Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) in April this year, the much-awaited Canopy Park attractions and new aviation-themed attraction Changi Experience Studio are also now open to visitors.

Featuring a range of unique adventures in a garden setting and an immersive interactive digital space respectively, the two attractions add to the range of leisure and tourism offerings available at Jewel, promising endless fun for travellers from the world over.

“Attractions and gardens on Canopy Park are designed for visitors to relax or have a fun time.”

Hung Jean, CEO, Jewel Changi Airport Devt said: “Changi Airport holds a special place in the hearts of many, especially Singaporeans, and we want to extend this special bond for everyone who visits Jewel. The attractions and gardens on Canopy Park are designed for visitors to relax or have a fun time with their families and friends, whether they reside in Singapore or are international travellers visiting Jewel. When Canopy Park was conceptualised, we envisaged a green natural environment with play and leisure activities for people of all ages. Importantly, we wanted to create a space where activities that are traditionally conducted outdoors, are brought to an indoor environment so that they can be enjoyed under all weather conditions.”

Travellers can also learn about interesting stories of Changi Airport and how an airport works at the Changi Experience Studio (CES) located at Level 4 of Jewel. Leveraging state-of-the-art digital technology that premiers for the first time across Singapore and Asia, the studio engages its audience with a collection of over 20 different touchpoints and 10 zones of fun and discovery spread over 3,000 square metres. The various touchpoints aim to deliver a diverse mix of unique experiences under one roof through interactive games, projection storytelling, immersive shows and gallery exhibits.

According to Jayson Goh, MD, Changi Airport for Airport Operations Management, the Changi Experience Studio was conceived and designed to be a space that tells interesting stories of Changi Airport in a way that brings wonder and delight to visitors. Beyond the entertainment, visitors across all age groups can learn about the past and present of Singapore’s air hub, the inner workings of the airport, and experience what makes Changi tick. The Changi Experience Studio is also a living tribute to the 50,000-strong airport community, he added.
