Hyatt puts eco-credentials to the fore with nature-reserve property

The A&B Group and Hyatt unveiled its new environmentally focused property, the Nam Nghi Phu Quoc, to the media at a launch event last week. 

An increasingly popular Vietnamese destination, the beach-strewn island of Phu Quoc, is also a centre for the preservation of Vietnam’s flora and fauna with almost half of it falling within the national park and UNESCO World Heritage-designated, Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest biosphere reserves in Southeast Asia. The reserve contains a tropical rain forest, coral reefs and wetlands, a rich habitat home to more than 200 animal species, including 28  mammals, 199 birds and 14 different types of amphibian.
