Rahul Gandhi offers to resign but party rejects his resignation after CWC meeting

In the recently conducted Lok Sabha Elections 2019 the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) won with a massive margin whereas the Congress party suffered a major loss. BJP clinched 353 seats whereas Congress couldn’t even reach the 100 mark. Rahul Gandhi was adamant on resigning after the appalling performance of his party in the Lok Sabha elections.
